For about two-three weeks I have been considering and working towards starting a YouTube channel seriously. I have a concept in mind focusing on politics and current affairs in π°πͺ π¬π§ and the πΊπΈ.
The issue I have immediately realised is the skills gap between what I want to do and what I know I cannot do. From Editing to Graphic design etc. Also the amount research required to be done on any 1 video appears daunting. Furthermore, what I have in terms of technology to develop my ideas in minimal. In fact at the time of writing I have my phone (a powerful though Sony XZ Premium) and a borrowed laptop that I use occasionally.
However, I have found help on… YOUTUBE. There are a lot of creators that do similar work to what I want to do such as David Pakman, Johnny Harris & Kyle Kulinski. Then there are creators who share how other creators have become successful, such as Kat Theo, Sean Cannell, Paddy Galloway,Β whose analysis of successful YouTubers has been simple and easy to implement. There is also Ali Abdaal who simplified his path to success by repeating that he loaded 2 videos a week for 2 yrs till he was successful.
So I have taken some actions I have started writing scripts and developing this site so as to support my work. I have been working on my Thumbnail game, as this seems crucial to getting one’s videos viewed. I want to now start editing and recording the voice over for my first videos.
That it’s for now.Β
